Can Ricky defend his Sangson title?
As spotted by David Hendon at Snooker Scene Blog this morning, the draw and schedule for the Sangsom Six-Reds tournament taking place over in Thailand next month is now available…
To view the draw, please click here.
Like many of the invitational events taking place at the moment, the field is excellent as not only are 23 current professionals involved, but five world champions including the 2009 winner John Higgins will be taking part.
From what I understand this tournament was warmly received by the players who took part last season and in light of World Snooker’s attempts to promote this form of the game, it will be interesting to see what this year’s participants make of it.
The tournament takes place from July 7-12 and hopefully will be covered by Global Snooker once again.

Anyone know if there will be any feed or live streaming of this anywhere? I saw some of last years on youtube and there was some good stuff being played.
Loooing forward to seeing how Thepchaiya Un-Nooh fairs, and its also good that we get to see players from all over the world, something that we dont often get to see.
I’m not aware of one at the moment but I’d not be surprised, everything seems to be available these days if you know where to look.
According to Snooker Scene Blog it will be televised here later in the year so there is always that…
