With just 38 players involved the numbers are not what they might be, but with the likes of Ken Doherty, Graeme Dott, Mark King, Jamie Cope and Judd Trump involved there should be some high quality matches played.
The event will be hosted at the George Scott Snooker Club in Liverpool, a venue that I must admit I know very little about. Judging by their website which states that they have 22 full-size tables installed however it sounds capable of staging a Pro Challenge event and it will be interesting to see how the players take to it.
