Congratulations to Hong Kong’s Marco Fu who has today captured the gold medal in the 2010 Asian Games with a 4-2 victory against tournament favourite Ding Junhui…
Although Marco got out out the blocks quickly with a break of 131, Ding soon hit back with breaks of 55 and 51 to lead 2-1 and turn the match on its head. Marco though was not to be deterred and won three hard fought frames to complete a 4-2 victory to take another title and ensure that he will head into next weekend’s Premier League play-offs in good spirits.
