Heads Up: Hearn lays down the law

A quick heads up to a fabulous set of quotes over at Snooker Scene Blog today from Barry Hearn, concerning the need for the players to be more professional and criticising behaviour such as entering tournaments and not bothering to withdraw, something that as an outsider I entirely agree with.

Another interesting note is that the incident at a recent PTC event where Ding smashed into the pack of reds from the break-off has been referred to a disciplinary commission. I know that was something that irritated a lot of blog readers at the time although I am not sure that it would warrant a formal disciplinary.
