Where would you like to see the tournament staged? Newport, Llanelli, Cardiff or perhaps somewhere else?

Cardiff for me, just don’t think Newport is suitable for the Welsh Open, should come back to the Capital, have to see if World Snooker can afford it, though

How about Prestatyn? Pontins could easily stage a ranking tournament.

Llanellli & Prestatyn are too far out of the way. Just thinking about decent transport links, Llanelli’s on the M4, but not on the mainline rail, which at least both Cardiff & Newport are. I’d like to see it go back to Cardiff somewhere, not the CIA, maybe the Institute, or somewhere in Cardiff Bay, though I can see that might push costs up a bit.
Or they could just come to Merthyr Tydfil & I’d walk over every day. We’ve got a nice big sport centre now!
