Race to the 2014 Masters – Shanghai Update

With Ding Junhui’s victory at the Shanghai Masters yesterday, we moved one step closer to learning who the 16 players will be at the 2014 Masters and as well as the latest projected seeding list, you can now find the updated ‘race to the Masters’ list here at PSB, to see who is currently in position to qualify…

Alternatively, you can click here to see the latest standings following the Shanghai Masters, which show Mark Allen now down in 15th place and in need of victories in order to guarantee a return to snooker’s biggest invitational tournament next year.

Of those currently chasing him, Matthew Stevens and Mark Williams both failed to gain ground, Williams having lost out in qualifying, while Graeme Dott too was another to fall in his opening match at the venue.

Of course there remain a large number of points still to play for, particularly with the International and UK Championship events still to come prior to the Masters cut-off, but it nevertheless remains a list worth keeping an eye on as the events are completed…
