A nice story here from Sky Tyne and Wear, who have been down to take a look at five-year-old Beau Thirsk, who is impressing onlookers in his native north-east with his snooker talent.

While it is obviously far too soon to talk about any career that he might have in the game, it is always nice to see young players both interested and participating in the game and who knows, perhaps one day we might see him on our screens again…
