2013/14 EBSA Qualifying Tour – Final Qualifiers

Allen

While Mark Selby produced a brilliant comeback earlier today to capture the 2013 Antwerp Open title, the day also saw the conclusion of the 2013/14 EBSA Qualifying Tour, with Steven Hallworth defeating Duane Jones to capture the fourth and final event of tour…

Steven’s victory today means that we now have our final ranking list, with the four event winners, plus the next eight in the rankings now qualifying for the play-offs later this season.

While due to time constraints I will not be able to publish the full ranking list tonight, I can confirm that the twelve qualifiers for the play-offs are:

  1. Ian Glover – 290 – (Event Three Winner)
  2. Jamie Rhys Clarke – 280
  3. Steven Hallworth – 270 – (Event Four Winner)
  4. Zack Richardson – 270
  5. Gareth Allen – 240
  6. Zak Surety – 220
  7. Mitchell Travis – 220
  8. Michael Georgiou – 220
  9. Martin Ball – 220
  10. Sam Harvey – 220
  11. Michael Tomlinson – 200 (qualifiers due to event one winner Oliver Lines having won the EBSA European U-21 Championship)
  12. Sydney Wilson – 170 – (Event Two Winner)
  13. Oliver Lines – 150 – (Event One Winner)

As was the case last season, the twelve will now progress to the EBSA play-offs, from which three of them will earn a two-year tour card starting next summer.

UPDATE – The event will take place over two days at Ponds Forge, Sheffield between 12-13 April 2014, alongside the World Championship qualifiers.
