Following the conclusion of the ET2 event last weekend the draw has now been released for the third event of the series this season, the Ruhr Open.
As ever, you can also view the draw over at snookerorg and there are a couple of interesting ties to note, even in the first qualifying round where prominent amateurs Zhao Xintong and Jamie Clarke have been unfortunate enough to draw each other.
In terms of the professional stage, the very top of the draw looks to be relatively loaded, with just one from ET2 winner Ali Carter, Marco Fu, Mark Davis, Fergal O’Brien and world champion Stuart Bingham in position to make it through to the final day.
Of the absentees, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Ding Junhui continue to stay away from European Tour events this season, but Neil Robertson will make his first appearance in the series since his victory at the final event of last season in Gdynia back in February.
