Today saw the start of the third event of the new Pro Challenge Series as the likes of Ken Doherty, Mark Williams and Jamie Cope take to the table once again. Click below for the results so far as reported by Global Snooker…
As you can see from the results below, many have gone to form so to speak with wins for the likes of Peter Lines, Mark Davis, Ben Woollaston, Robert Milkins and Ken Doherty who have all started the season well.
There are however a few more surprising results, notably the exits of the two Welsh top 16 players involved as Ryan Day and Mark Williams have been upset by Stuart Bingham and Jamie Cope respectively. In addition Joe Jogia handed Stephen Lee another heavy defeat while Graeme Dott did not participate at all, giving Barry Pinches a walkover.
The highest break of the day was an excellent 140 from Ricky Walden, while Ken Doherty’s 137 was not too shabby either. The event continues tomorrow…
