Following the conclusion of the Riga Open and the first publication of this season’s European Order of Merit, World Snooker have now published the draw and format for the Paul Hunter Classic, which will be played later this month in Fuerth.

As we have seen on occasion in the past, the seeding system can throw up a few juicy opening round matches, with the winners of the last two full ranking events in John Higgins and Stuart Bingham drawn against each other, thanks to John’s early exit in Riga.
The professional rounds of the Paul Hunter Classic get underway three weeks tomorrow, from the 28th August 2015.
