New feature: Fan of the Month

Never wanting to stand still over here at PSB, I have been thinking both of potential new features for the blog, as well as other ways to get you readers involved a bit more. As a result, the fan of the month page is born…

So what is it all about?

The idea is that every month I hope to feature one of you readers as the PSB fan of the month. It is not intended to be a serious competition and as such there are no prizes or anything like that, instead it will hopefully be a fun feature which will allow fans of snooker to express themselves here.

How can I enter?

If you would like to be considered, please send your answers to the following questions to the usual address at prosnookerblog@gmail.com and I will select one entry per month for the feature.

As with the comments feature on the blog, I am always interested in hearing from fans from all sorts of backgrounds and whether you have been following snooker for weeks, months or years, all entries will be considered.

The questions are as follows:

  • Name:
  • Age:
  • Nationality:
  • What is your highest break?
  • Who is your favourite player and why?
  • What is your favourite venue/tournament?
  • How did you first become interested in snooker?
  • What is it you like about snooker?
  • If you could change one thing about snooker, what would it be?
  • Describe your favourite experience as a snooker fan so far:
  • Why should you be the PSB fan of the month?

If you would like to submit a photograph which would be posted with the article then that would be welcome but that is by no means compulsory.
