From Stonehouse, Scotland’s Rhys Clark first played snooker at the age of 11 and a decade later earned a two-year tour card from the start of the 2015/16 season by coming through the 2015 Q School, defeating Robert Cloherty, Kuldesh Johal, Wayne Townsend, Shachar Ruberg and finally Irishman Leo Fernadez
As an amateur, Rhys has also played in several European Tour and main ranking events, notably defeating Pankaj Advani 4-3 at the 2015 Indian Open, as well as beating Mike Dunn 10-2 at the 2014 World Championship qualifiers in Sheffield.
