Amateur Career
Australia’s Ben Judge attempted to qualify for the main tour in 2011 by entering that year’s Q School, reaching the third round of event two before losing out to Chinese talent Tian Pengfei.
In March 2012 however, Ben was able to earn a two-year tour card with his 6-2 defeat of James Mifsud at the 2012 Oceania Championship. You can watch footage of his victory here.
2012/13
Ben was to ensure a tough opening half to his début season on the main tour, winning just two matches, against Sam Baird and Alan McManus in qualifying for the Shanghai Masters and ET2 events respectively.
Following this start, he would not enter another event after the German Masters qualifiers in November 2012.
