Career Summary
Chris first qualified for the main tour in 2001 by winning the Oceania play-off, but only managed to end the season ranked 121st, losing his place on the circuit as a result.
It took Chris another seven years to make it back onto the main tour but he did so by virtue of having finished as runner-up in the Oceania play-offs to Glen Wilkinson who declined his place due to the amount of travel that would be required. McBreen had fewer issues with that however as living in Germany with his wife at the time, the regular trip to Prestatyn was not quite as daunting for him.
Unfortunately though his second season on the tour was to be no better than his first as it took him until the season-ending World Championship to win his first match and even then it was only during one of the prelimary rounds against a non-tour opponent. As a result he has lost his place on the tour after just one season.
