Career Summary
Zhu first became interested in snooker back in 1999 when she saw John Higgins competing in the China International in Shanghai, a tournament that he would eventually win.
Since then, Zhu has officiated in events such as the Q School in May 2011, before going on to referee her first professional final at the PTC3 event in Sheffield between winner Ben Woollaston and former world champion Graeme Dott.
The highlight of her career to date however came on the opening day of the 2012 World Championship as during her first session at the Crucible, she presided over Stephen Hendry’s 11th professional maximum break, the 10th at the Crucible in all.
