Career Summary
A local referee since the 1970′s and former worker at Liverpool airport, Pete Williamson began refereeing professionally in 1991 and has since been an established figure on the tour.
Career highlights include regular appearances at the World Championship in Sheffield, taking charge of major semi-finals at the British and Welsh Open tournaments, and also being lucky enough to referee six maximum 147 breaks. Amongst these are two from John Higgins, one from Barry Pinches at the 2000 Welsh Open, one from Jason Prince in the 1999 British Open qualifiers and one from Nick Dyson.
Hopefully he will be given a ranking event final at some point before he calls it a day, it would be a nice way to cap a successful career.
