The conclusion of the UKPTC2 event in Gloucester today marked the end of the first stage of the 2012/13 season, with the seedings now revised for the upcoming International Championship, snooker’s newest major, in terms of ranking points and prize money at least. PTC3: Seeds Tumble as Williams, Ding, Robertson and Murphy Crash Out

Friday saw the professionals enter the fray at PTC3 and what a day it was as a number of the top ranked players were sent crashing out of the tournament by lower ranked opposition.

Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I have not been able to provide a comprehensive report on the action from Sheffield but I have updated my projected seedings list which you can see here. You can also view all of the results from the tournament here at WWW Snooker.
