John Higgins:
“He’s (Judd) a great talent, he pots them off the lampshades,” said Higgins. “He’s going to be a great player in the future, there’s no doubt about that.
“He’ll just need to get used to the TV conditions and hit the ball less hard, but we’ve all gone through that.
“He pots balls for fun, but if he learns the tactical side he’s got a great future ahead of him. He’ll definitely improve, there’s no doubt about that.
“He should keep trying to pot them, but also work on the other aspects of his game.”
Steve Davis:
“He (Judd) was the teenage sensation of his era, so naturally he’s breaking through just like Ronnie (O’Sullivan) and Shaun (Murphy) did,” said Davis.
“Perhaps he will prove just how good he is, he’s certainly being tipped for the top. Will he be a force to be reckoned with? Probably yes!
“The standard of snooker is higher than it’s ever been – and Judd’s one of the brightest young players coming through.”
