News on the qualifying draw for the 2009 World Championship at the Crucible has recently come to light…
Yes it is hard to believe that in just three months time we will be back at the famous Crucible Theatre for another year in Sheffield, but before then there are several qualification matches taking place which will mean everything to the players involved.
Importantly, news of the qualifying draw has now come to light on the World Snooker website, as well as the order of play at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield.

Having visited the EISS twice myself for the UK Championship qualifiers, I can certainly recommend going along for a day because with tickets available for just £5 you can see some top snooker from some household names. Hopefully I will get the chance to pop over for a few days myself.
I will post my thoughts about the draw and the matches at some point after the Masters…
