The two groups are as follows:
Group One
Group Two
The tournament will get underway just over a week from now on Thursday June 4th and come to a conclusion the following Sunday as we find out whether Ding will be able to defend his title or whether there will be a new champion.
As far as the groups are concerned, both appear to be fairly evenly matched, Group One containing two former world champions as well as defending champion Ding Junhui while the second sees World Championship finalists from the last three years battle it out to reach the semi-finals.
Finally I am glad to see that Li Hang has been given a chance to gain some valuable experience against the top players as the youngster was very impressive during his main tour debut season last year and looks like one to watch in the future. Similar sentiments regarding Jin Long who did even better to move straight into the top 64, albeit not at the first attempt.
