Liang Wenbo will be bidding for his second professional title in as many weeks tomorrow as he moved into the final of the General Cup International with a win over Li Yan today. He managed to start his semi-final well with a break of 97 and although Li levelled the scores at 2-2, further breaks of 59, 104 and 69 powered Liang into another final.
There he will meet Ricky Walden who came through a potentially tricky tie against Tian Pengfei at the loss of just one frame. The final is a tough one to call but having already beaten Ricky once this week (4-1 yesterday), Liang will be supremely confident and for me goes into the match as a slight favourite…
