Just a week after Ronnie O’Sullivan clinched his 22nd ranking event title out in Shanghai, snooker heads back to Pontin’s as the Grand Prix qualifiers get underway…
It is hard to believe but by this Thursday, 64 of the tour’s 96 players will already be 1/3 through the ranking event season as they will have been eliminated during the week’s Grand Prix qualifiers.
To find out exactly who those players will be and who will be heading up to Glasgow next month, stayed tuned here to PSB throughout the weeks, or head over to Global Snooker as ever for the latest scores.
As an aside, as well as the provisional rankings I have now updated the one-year list here for anyone wishing to take a look how the situation stands after Shanghai. Following the Grand Prix qualifiers on Thursday, I will again update both pages to keep you all right up to date.
Finally, the draw for the last 32 stage of the Grand Prix will also take place on Thursday, live on 110sport following the final match of the day.
