The entry list for the third event of the 2010/11 Players Tour Championship has now been released by World Snooker and the big news is that reigning world champion Neil Robertson and the man he defeated in the quarter-finals of that tournament Steve Davis have both decided to participate in the series for the first time…
In fact the third event sees 88 of the 96 professional players involved, up on the 81 who entered the second event eventually won by Mark Selby.
Those joining for this round appear to be Neil Robertson, Steve Davis, Joe Delaney, Thanawat Thirapongpaiboon, Michael Judge, Liang Wenbo and Issara Kachaiwong.
Notable absentees meanwhile include Scottish duo John Higgins (who of course remains suspended) and Stephen Hendry, in addition to Mark Allen and Ding Junhui who to date have shown little interest in the competition.
