Sad news to report today as Malcolm Thorne, brother of Willie has passed away following a long battle with cancer. Click below for more and to leave your tributes…
Unfortunately I did not know Malcolm personally but learned of the seriousness of his situation early last year at the World Championship qualifiers.
The obvious link is to his brother Willie, but in his own right Malcolm was well-known as being at the forefront of amateur snooker and more recently being involved with the EASB at a national level.
