This evening’s final will see Graeme Dott take on Jimmy White after both came through their semi-final matches by comfortable 5-1 scorelines this afternoon.
I was not able to see much of Graeme’s match but I did see Jimmy’s victory over John Higgins and he did look to be very sharp throughout, scoring heavily and winning frames in one-visit as a result. He really seems to excel in the shorter format tournaments these days having already won the 6-red event in Thailand earlier in the season and he will be hoping for more silverware tonight. Notably however, the final will see 15 reds on the table so perhaps this may favour Graeme…
