In rather unsurprising news, last week’s World Championship finalist Graeme Dott has parted company with manager Pat Mooney following his alleged involvement in the John Higgins row. Click below to read Graeme’s statement…
Graeme’s statement as reported on many sites including the Telegraph:
“Further to the press reports last week involving Mr Pat Mooney, I have terminated my representation contract with Pat Mooney and FSTC Management with immediate effect.
“I will have no further dealings with either of these parties.”
This completes a nightmare week for Mooney who has now lost both Dott and his place on the board of the WPBSA as a result of the allegations raised by the News of the World newspaper over a week ago.
It will be interesting now to see what will happen as far as the Snooker Players Association is concerned as of course Mooney did play a large role in establishing that and despite recent events it would be a shame to see those efforts go to waste…
