Following on from today’s publication of the 2015/16 prize money schedule, World Snooker have now confirmed the seeding cut-off information for the new season, both in terms of when the cut-offs will be and which points are to be removed at each revision.
This means that I have now been able to prepare a new projected seedings list, excluding points from the three events from the 2013/14 season, which will no longer count when the seedings are revised after the Australian Goldfields Open later this month.
As we are at the start of a new season, the list is something of a work in progress, but if you spot anything that does not look right, please let me know.
Looking at the revised calendar, it is interesting to note that a cut-off has been added after the Lisbon Open (which incidentally now seems to have been confirmed), just a week after the UK Championship. This will be used to determine the seedings for the Welsh Open, allowing for the Lisbon points to be included.
