Miah250

As was the case last season, alongside the European Order of Merit will run an EBSA Order of Merit, on which amateurs will be awarded points, with the top 16 after six events qualifying for a play-off event next spring.

Two players from that event will earn two-year tour cards from the start of the 2016/17 season, following in the footsteps of last season’s qualifiers Martin Donnell and Sanderson Lam.

SB Classic Returns – Places Running Out

SB16-Website-image-724x1024It only feels like yesterday that fellow blogger Snookerbacker was toying with the idea of getting his own amateur competition off the ground, but earlier this week he launched what will now be the fifth edition of the event, the SBC2016.

In a change from previous seasons, when Q School places were offered as prizes, this time around the event will be for straight cash, with a total prize fund of over £12,000 up for grabs.

More information can be found over at his blog here, but with places fast being snapped up as set out in his latest blog yesterday, don’t wait too long…
