While yesterday it was Ronnie O’Sullivan lifting the PTC title at the South West Snooker Academy, today it was the turn of the seniors as the likes of Darren Morgan, Mike Hallett and David Roe battled it out for the four available places at the TV stages of the World Seniors Championship next month…
Doug Mountjoy, Mike Hallett and David Taylor will be among the recognisable faces competing in the World Seniors Championship qualifying rounds.
So the draw for the 2011 World Seniors Championship has just been made during the Premier League show and is as follows. Note that the tournament will be televised live on Sky Sports on the weekend of 5th-6th November 2011.

Well this is an interesting one. I understand from a number of players that the decision has been taken this season to raise the age limit for the World Seniors Championship from 40 to 45, excluding players such as Stephen Hendry, Peter Ebdon and Ken Doherty who would otherwise have been eligible.
