Jason Ferguson has been elected as the new President of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS).

Ferguson received unanimous support in the election at the WCBS General Assembly, held in Wroclaw, Poland, home to the 2017 World Games.

Ferguson said: “Billiard Sports are united in the mission to become part of the Olympic Programme. We have seen great recent success in the SEA Games held in Singapore, and Cue Sports will once again participate in the 2017 World Games. I am honoured to be asked to lead our sport in this next phase of promoting the core values of the Olympic Movement.”

One man behind this push in particular is WPBSA Chairman Jason Ferguson and when I caught up with him at the recent Bluebell Wood Open tournament in Doncaster, he was kind enough to provide me with a selection of his photos from the event for PSB.
