For a third successive year here at the Crucible, an exhibition was required on the final Saturday afternoon due to an early finish in the tournament’s first semi-final, this year between Shaun Murphy and Barry Hawkins.

With Ronnie O’Sullivan defeating Barry Hawkins with a session to spare yesterday, in place of the afternoon session on semi-final Saturday at the Crucible today was an exhibition between former world champions Stephen Hendry and Ken Doherty.
