A few days ago, fellow blogger Snookerbacker flagged up his ‘ten to follow’ across the course of the ongoing 2014/15 season, which you can read here.
In the interests of bloggers solidarity…or something, I decided to chip in with my ten to keep an eye on next season and today ahead of the start of the Wuxi Classic tomorrow (usual links on the right), I thought I would expand upon that and detail my choices here…
Well two out of three sure isn’t bad. Stuart Bingham has today seen off Li Hang and Tom Ford in Zhengzhou City, each by a 4-3 scoreline to capture the third and final APTC event of the 2012/13 season. His second APTC triumph in all following his early-season win in Zhangjiagang.
Aside from Stuart’s victory, with tour places and PTC Finals spots up for grabs from the Asian Order of Merit, there are other important implications arising from this tournament…
Prior to the tournament it has been argued that the tournament would benefit from two last 32 matches being played on day one as well as the obligatory wildcard rounds and today showed exactly why as Neil Robertson and Stephen Hendry booked their places in the second round with deciding frame victories.
